Dialogues - dance symposium 2020
Dialogues are developing the initial idea of laboratories Reflection in action. Reflection on action into a wider platform of exchange between the invited participants - artists, experts and public into international context. In the year 2020 we will invite guests from Ljubljana - Zagreb - Budapest - Berlin.
Laboratories were developed in 2012 as an integral part of the project Physical manifestations (2012- ongoing) with the aim to create a space where people can meet and think about different aspects of perception and various understandings of what the body means in our society.
They have been developed as a critic to the usual set up of theoretical events: conferences, lectures, symposiums etc., where usually one has to sit down and listen to the "authority".
Laboratories Reflection in action. Reflection on action empower the space between (erasing the strict line) the theoretical discourse and practise in order to open a different environment for the discussion.

In the project Dialogues Snježana Premuš invites the guest artists and experts to co-create a platform for theoretical/practical discourse about the necessity of such spaces in our society:
- are they connected just to the work of art?
- how is it possible to extend, assert or maintain them in the community?
- what is the role of the artist in the development of such spaces?
